Braid

I just finished Braid, and I was quite pleased. There were some irksome moments trying to figger shit out, but otherwise the music and artwork really drew me in and transported my mind elsewhere which is always one of the best qualities of a game for me. When I finished, I discovered I didn't really get what the plotline was, and maybe because I was too intently thinking of finishing the level to really understand it all. So, fortunately, somebody wrote it all out in black and white. It always amazes me that people have the time and energy to write this stuff up, and figure it out themselves. Plus, I don't do well with circular stories or working backwards, my memory isn't that good. At least I can follow Memento...

I think you can attribute JTerm 2006 for that memory problem.

My brain has enough retention power for important things, but I'm not one so good at random trivia anymore.

There are a lot of things I can blame JTerm 2006 on, but fortunately there are more things I can thank JTerm 2006 for. Like....the greatest continuous stretch of days in my life, a proficiency at Kings Cup, an awesome beer bong, etc. etc.

Braid is sweet. I think that means 4 total clan members have beat it... SB quit.

Anyone want to play some big team this weekend?

anyone getting ODST tonight? I don't think I am because I'm poor and it looks kinda lame.

I just picked it up... I'll be on live at around 10pm if anyone wants to play the campaign with me.

Jump Duck is going through Peer Review right now, one person has already approved it. As soon as it's on XBL I'll make post. Also 1337 Runner is nearing competition and as soon as Jump Duck is on Live I'll be submitting 1337 Runner. I also have an idea for the next game I'll be making after that.
