Monday

Couple things I have been thinking about over the weekend, in no particular order.

- The game Braid is really fun you should buy it on Xbox Live Arcade.

- The demo for Mirror's Edge was also really fun. You should down load it one Xbox Live.

- Anyone play Fallout 3 or Gears of War 2 yet? Are they good? Is it worth it?

- Still can't get Adobe CS3 to install and it's really pissing me off.

- Civ Rev was on sale at target for 35 bucks. You should buy if if you haven't yet. SB and Pablito play it frequently.

- I bought Little Big Planet for PS3. It's pretty fun, it was a lot more fun until they started deleting the user made levels for copyright infringement.

- Vikes Won, Steelers Lost, Bears Lost. Good day.

- What are peoples holiday plans? Who's going to be in the area and when? Hope everyone is doing well.

Sincerly,
Monster

I bought GOW2 yesterday and I like it so far. I've only played the single player mode but I enjoy the contrast from Halo. As far as I can tell the graphics and gameplay are really good and I like some of the features it has the H3 doesn't. I never played GOW so I'm not sure how much of an improvement it is, but I'd recommend it based on what I've seen.

I'll be in the TC area for Thanksgiving and Christmas break the whole time.

Gears of War 2 and Fallout 3 are up there with the best games ever made.

Fallout 3 is pretty amazing, but it's single player only so you have to judge for yourself if you want to pay the $60 for it, it's still going to be the same game when it's down to $20. I like it way more than Oblivion because they didn't go as hard core with the enemy level scaling. Plus I was a huge fan of Fallout 1 and 2, so I was excited to get back into the universe. The first 2 are still better if you're a hardcore RPG person, though. My only gripe was that I seemed to hit the level cap of 20 waaay to fast, and the main quest seems to be pretty short. All in all though a pretty cool game.
I unfortunately am flat broke so I won't get a chance any time soon to try out GOW2, or any other game for that matter.

i'll only be playing either one of those if sb buys it, but judging by the commercials i think fallout 3 is better. i got the newest fifa and it was fun for a few days but then i went back to civ rev.

i'll be here in st. paul for thxgiving but i'll be in vienna hopefully for the week of xmas. i'd be back in st. paul for new year's though...

My Thanksgiving is split between DanaWillEatU's side Thursday/Friday and my parents place Saturday/Sunday. Christmas/New Years is still up in the air.

Those games do indeed look sweet, I might think about getting one. Over the weekend I purchased and beat Portal. That game was really cool, I wish there was more to it though.

I was able to pick up the new Call of Duty, World at War, yesterday afternoon and it's pretty good. The maps are impressive, but to me almost seem like they're a little bit to crowded with stuff. You'll have to check it out to see for yourself.
