First of all, I sincerely apologize because I had promised the Daymonster that as a Xmas gift to him I would do a post, but the holiday came and went and I was too busy (mostly lazy) to write anything so I'll do so now. Please accept this post as a belated Xmas present, my dear friend The Daymonster.
As you may know, I'm now married and living in Austria. I moved here in July, but made a major life decision, arguably a bigger decision than getting married or emigrating from the USA, of not bringing my Xbox with me. I thought it would be better for me to live without that distraction and it may have been, especially in the first few months when I was taking classes to refresh my German and looking for jobs. But now I've got a job and feel fairly comfortable speaking German all day, so I asked my bro to ship me my Xbox as a Xmas gift and I believe it's on the way to me right now, at least I hope so. So I'd really like to know first what games you guys are playing. I assume Black Ops, but anything else? Also, what times are you guys on Live? I'm on Central European Time, so 7 hours ahead of Central US. There's no way I'll ever play Black Ops unless I know I can team up with my clanmates since COD was never my favorite game to begin with.
The Knights in Minnesota may be interested to know that I'll likely be returning to the USA for a couple weeks in late April. My wife is a teacher so she has some time off for Easter and it happens to be my birthday so I'd really like to come back to celebrate it with you guys. I'll definitely let everyone know when I've booked a flight and then we need to start planning a clan get-together because I'll want to see everyone. I'll first want to play a ton of vids with everyone, then drink a lot of Summit, then hopefully a UFC event will happen during that time too, because that's another thing I haven't been keeping up to date on.
Now a couple topics to hopefully generate some comments. Did anyone get any cool Xmas gifts? What's everyone doing for New Year's? As mentioned earlier, I'm hoping to get my old Xbox soon and that will literally be the best gift I've received in a long while. Besides that, I got a nice watch and Football Manager 2011, which is the latest edition of the most addictive sports game ever. So far I actually haven't started playing it yet, because I can't quit playing a saved game I have on the 2010 version! New Year's here doesn't seem like such a big deal as in the USA. I remember like every bar would be advertising specials but here I don't see much of it. Instead of going out, we're partying at a friend of a friend's place, where I think we'll be playing a lot of board games i.e. Settlers of Catan.
So there's my post! Merry Christmas Daymonster and everyone else!!
Love,
Pablito Neal

Call of Duty
The Picture listed above is a chart that a guy made, who has made one in the past several call of duty games, that lists the damage, recoil, distance, reload times, and other useful things about the guns.
If you have anything new to say about classes, perks, kill streaks, weapons, or anything else post here.
One thing I have been noticing lately is that by switching to open sights on my guns I seem to be able to pull the gun up faster and am getting more kills per map. It is nice after having played some of the maps for a while that i've started figuring out where things are somewhat.
A while back I posted about how much I liked the Stoner63 LMG, and lately I have somewhat changed my mind on it. It is still a good mid-range gun, but I have been mainly using the AUG with open sights and extended mag lately. I find it's fire rate and recoil to be very effective. Also, I unlocked the AK-47 the other day. It is powerful, but very erratic with its recoil, so it is hard to land multiple shots in a row.
I have tried out a few guns lately to see how they perform with different attachments. The first was the AK-47. It has pretty good power, but its recoil is so high that it is hard to land multiple shots in a row. Another gun is the classified shotgun. Its only attachment is dual wield which is very powerful but it only holds 5 shots and you have to be somewhat close to the person you're shooting at to have an effect. I have found that you tend to run out of ammo pretty fast when running around with it. A while back I posted that I had unlocked the classified sniper rifle as well, and it really isn't as good as I would have hoped. It is a semi-automatic, but it lacks the power of the sniper right before it on the list, so I would not recommend it.
Anyways, let me know if anyone has anything else they have found while playing. We should try to get some people on to play some Zombies at some point soon. It was fun when we played with 4 people a while back.

Halloween Plans and Other Bits of Tid
So what are everyone's Halloween plans? Any good costumes? DanaWillEatU and I will be attending a Halloween gathering with fellow work friends at Tilla1234's abode. I plan on using something mysteriously called "black vodka" to mix unnatural looking, scary, and ultimately very alcoholic drinks that hopefully more than just myself and Tilla will consume. DanaWillEatU and I will be in costume as Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head, and this spud plans to be the lead singer of the greatest Halloween Rock Band impromptu musical group ever, so long as Bon Jovi and Journey are saved for last and no one tries to kill my singing buzz.
Also, I would like to make note that there is a Daymonster imposter roaming the streets in my town. Next chance I get I will post a picture for all to see. I saw him at church the last two weekends (which was a clear indicator of imposterism and not full fledged cloning). I also found out this week that my supervisor at work frequented the Broiler while growing up. We discussed the merits of greasy food conquering hangovers, and agreed hollandaise sauce is a big help.
I played Halo 3 for the first time in probably a year with Tilla1234 last weekend while cursing Drew Brees ruining my fantasy football hopes and dreams (I ended up winning the week anyway, thanks Eli and Knowshon). Tilla had McFadden, which made me want to hit him with my roller. On another football note, I was voted MVP of our touch football league at work last night. I took over for quarterback 3 games into the season and won 2 of the last 4 (we were previously winless). Yesterday I threw TD passes of 15, 20, 30, 35, and 40 (mostly RAC) in my best performance yet. Reminds me of losing to SB and Puyo over and over on the IM fields, dealing with Chode as a receiver and my own defensive incompetencies.
Lastly, a bowling league update, our team name this year is "Smurf Yeah!" and we again had to find a new team member as our 3rd left work. Ironically, 3 weeks into the season our replacement announced his departure (that's 3 members in 4 years, anyone willing to drive on Thursdays and join my team?). Tonight I posted a 119, 171, and 178. My average so far is a 135, 15 pins lower than normal. I'm trying a new technique to try to generate higher revs on my ball and increase consistency, however the early goings aren't going so well (excluding my last two games tonight which I hope to continue forward). On a related note, the local lanes have added Schell Dark to their list of tap brews, which is comforting since it's a favorite of mine.
I hope to find time in November to visit the clubhouse, however half the weekends are spoken for already so it may be hard.
Happy Halloween!

Eastbound and Down: Season Dos
So I was checking Twins scores a second ago and something jumped out at me and caught my attention - an ad for the second season of Eastbound and Down. It brightened my day little to see it but I was surprised that MLB would embrace that show since it kind of makes fun of the sport.
But then I looked at the calendar and saw that along with the scores, Sep 26 was specially marked as Eastbound and Down day! I was already excited about the new season, but I never thought it had become very popular for the mainstream. Is Kenny Powers appearing in broadcast booths as a guest announcer or showing up on Sportscenter as well??
Another hilarious item, which Daymonster sent to me is this:
This is Marilyn Manson, not only without makeup, but dressed up as Kenny Powers. It's from the article here.

Absolutely Nothing to Post About
Hey dudes,
As most of you know, I've relocated to Vienna, Austria instead of St. Paul. We never had a post about my wedding. I suppose I can put that together, but I'd also like to hear about it from Daymonster and Squatting Bear's point of view. Anyways, long story short, I got married on July 31 to an Austrian girl and am living here now.
The reason I say I have nothing to post about is because during the move over here I decided to leave my XBox at SB's house so I don't have any video game tales to write about. Of course I have my laptop, but I've never been a PC gamer. We have been looking at buying a used XBox or a Wii because we had a fun time playing Wii Fit games at a friend of Pablena's house.
Additionally, I don't have any new drinking stories. It's difficult to have a binge drinking adventure alone. I'll need to find some drinking partners over here before I can even think about putting together a great post like Unky Warthog's.
I'll let everyone know when I organize a return trip to the USA because I'll expect to have a gathering at the KofC clubhouse so I can see everybody. Otherwise, my door is always open for clan members who want to go on a Euro Trip. I also wanted to pimp my own blog, if you want to read about what's going on for me, check out pablitoneal.blogspot.com.

Unkys go to Hawkeye Game, Become Wizards.
All the Unkys got together for a weekend in Iowa City. Playboy and Eternal (w/ Auntie Eternal) arrived late on Friday night and we were quick to start building our wizard stalves. The neighbors, Yeager and Auntie Yeager also met up before Warthog, Playboy, and Eternal headed down to the bars to sing Hey Jude--a favorite of the unks--at a karoake bar.

One Month Without a Post!
Hey clan,
We had a lag a while where it looked like the blog was about to end, now we've gone another month without a post so I'm here to post something (hopefully) interesting. I don't have anything fun to say about video games, I've just been playing Football Manager which no one besides me likes so I've got a couple good pics of Sam and an MMA event we attended.
Please note, especially any PETA members looking at this, that the beer bong is empty and not because Sam just chugged it. Sam has a tendency to chew on anything and everything so when we brought out the beer bong he immediately latched onto it. Later I realized that we allowed Sam to chew on the end of the beer bong before we started using it for its real use.
Here's an awesome pic showing how close we were to the Xtreme Kombat League event which took place at the Target Center on my birthday, April 24. The event was attended by numerous Knights: myself, Squatting Bear, Daymonster, and Unky Eternal. It was also the same night as the pic above of Sam, which took place while we were pre-gaming for the event. For each of us it was the first time attending an MMA event. I can't speak for the others but I was a little disappointed. It was exciting to see the action live, especially what happens between rounds and outside of the cage, but the action inside the cage was difficult to see. It's much more clear on TV. Still, it was a great time. As you can see from the pic we were quite close. We didn't pay for those tickets, we moved spots a few times after realizing the security in the Target Center didn't care, so by the main events we had moved down to the floor's second row. The people next to us admitted they'd done the same thing so I'm curious if anyone paid for those seats. The pic above shows that we were right behind the ring girls which was pretty nice, but it was also at the beginning of my favorite match-up of the night. It also happened to be the only chick fight, it was between a Minnesota girl and a top-ranked Japanese girl. The Minnesota girl, Shana Olsen, won a decision and now has an outside chance to appear on Strikeforce and fight Cristiane "Cyborg" Santos.
Sorry for not participating lately, I don't want to see the blog die...

Welcome to the Clan Squatting Dog
Everyone please welcome Squatting Dog, the newest member of KofC. Although he does not have a live account yet, nor is he able to complete the rigorous application process that Adeclipse went through he is a member nonetheless.
Now that I think of it, I guess we should have allowed Pablito Che into the clan, but he tends to bite us.

KofC Update
So, what's new gents? It's been quiet on the KofC front lately, but that doesn't mean we haven't been doing stuff.
The other day Dammer treked up to the great north and we had some solid 3v3 Halo 1 action. It was fun and we were thinking we would like to set up another Halo 1 LAN. Some weekend before the weather gets nice.
Also, not many of us has been playing COD lately, I played a bit with Puyo and some others. Most of us agree that playing COD by yourself kind of blows, but when we get a full group together it's pretty fun.
Does anyone want to play tonight? If not we should find a night a week where we know people should be online. I am thinking either Monday or Thursday night.
That's about it. What's going on with you fools?
