Madden

'Bout to pick up Madden 09. Should I get it for PS3 or 360? SB you picking it up or no? Anyone else?

I want to order it today so let me know. Also, Wii version is not an option.

I'll take that as a 'no'

I just don't enjoy it as a game anymore. Back in the day of like 93-95 it was exciting because the technology was leaping and bounding ahead to make each pick up the best football game out there. Now, it seems like it's just the same as the last seasons. So, I just can't justify picking it up anymore. Let me know what you think of the new one though.

Madden cheats on purpose to frustrate and annoy an individual. It's also frustrating how everyone appears to be moving in molasses, especially running backs when they do any sort of juke. I'd take the Madden for N64 we used to have any day of the week, jukes were actually quick. Passes were magnetically drawn to hands even worse than they are now, but at least Madden didn't purposely make a wide open guy drop or your guy slow down so that the corner can run faster than you and catch up to deflect the ball. Stupid Madden. That being said if I get into the right mood who knows, I might buy it.

Madden cheats hardcore. If you have too good of a team he'll injure your first draft pick in a preseason simulation. Now they have a new training mode to determine how much to cheat in multiplayer games.

They also have gameplay set up so that you can play with your five year old daughter and the game will adjust to how bad you're stomping her and make playing the game the least amount of fun possible so that your little girl can beat you in a video game. What happened to straight up losing on purpose? At least then you get to try every trick play in the book, do prevent defense every play, and eat pizza while you play.
