As you can see I am a genius and got this to work, and it works so beautifully. I need to have the mp3 of the songs that we want to vote on. So please send them to me so we can get the poll going for over the weekend. This might be a little ambitious.

Excellente comrade. Was the KofC official song going to be used as background audio to the blog page? If so Daymonster you might as well look into doing that as well (HTML/JavaScript element on the side?). Perhaps an on/off button so that when I go home and look at the blog through dial-up I don't fail miserably.
A KofC theme song is paramount, but perhaps a theme song for each KofC member would be good too? Clint Eastwood by the Gorillaz (I think) for Josey?
ya each person having their own song is good too, then they'll play when we make youtube highlight videos for everyone.
I like where your head is at. I have already tested it... the player works on the side. I don't think auto start is a good idea as often we view this at work.

okay, fuck you guys. I am very limited in my resources. These songs are ones I could rip from the girls cd collection of 3 sitting next to me. Here I am working my fingers to the bone to get the KofC theme song up and running and all you guys say is. those songs blow and no country?

Good call on the problems with auto-music at work. I think it is important that KofC members remember your theme song is going to be an indicator of not just you, but of the KofC. I suggest no more than 4 instances of screaming per song, and at most 1 instance of prolonged screaming vocals. Sample guidelines: Disturbed would probably be ok depending on the song since he doesn't actually scream. Mudvayne would not work since he doesn't actually use words. If you're going to use country it has to rely heavily on booze for subject content.

If you dont like the power station song you are lame, that is a classic 80's rock song, its kicks ass. It should be on gitar hero, would make the game way better.

I'll see if I can find another version later. Limewire only found 2 versions when I searched and one wouldn't download. I do agree with Pablito though, the voice is part of the allure of the song.
I actually think that song rocks (probably in my top 700 favorite songs) But I was still upset about your comments.

yeah, it works but the slider is too long for the right side, but i got another idea and that works too.
I say we vote on a KofC theme song and then at a later date we determine our own theme songs.

I do believe Josey wanted to spearhead the choices. I think it'd be fair to allow write-ins (adding an option to the poll).
I think the best and fairest way to pick a clan theme song is for every member to pick one song, and then we vote on those choices to arrive at our theme song.
