Not to take away from Daymonsters post, which you should read below this one. But I am in the library, and wanted to give myself a 5 min break before I read some super sick long case. So I went surfing the net for Beerfest stuff, like I need the temptation, man I am stupid but anyway, check this out.
I think I might prefer the type we got (for a number of reasons), but man o man I want to give one of these a shot, bad!!!!!!
Daymonster Update:
The boot pictured had our original logo, but the good people at the Knights of Columbus got mad and made us change it. :(
I didn't want to put up a whole new post about this so I thought I would just add this.
Josey got me thinking, what about a KofC boot for our annual holiday fundraiser? I looked into custom boots and it would run about $80 USD. Steep I know.
This above picture is just a prototype as you can tell by the poor paint job. But it's an idea. And like most ideas 22-24 year old guys have, we will get all excited about it and never see it through. But hey, it's more fun that not getting excited about it. Right?

Yes I know, could be harder, could be easier, but I sure as hell want to find out.
I would also like to add that, this find and my interest in ours in no way is an attempt to betray the boot we have. It holds a big spot in my heart, allmost all of it actually.
And I thought boots were for holding beer only....I was mistaken. If we do custom boots we could package them with a DVD training video. Basically it would be Beerfest and a few tips from us. Like the Big Guy Shuffle, the Big Guy burp, the Unky puke-in-mouth-cover-with-hand-swallow-puke-back-down-finish-boot, how to help prevent a fly infested room by Pete and I....etc.
Side note: Daymonster how did your lag testing go?
Real well, thanks for asking. I got lagged out of 1 or 2 games during the entire night. Started at 6:30 until 8 than 9-2am. I didn't get kicked out completely at all.
I would say this is a huge improvement as before I would lag out of 3 of every 5 games.
To be perfectly honest I think a boot DVD combo would actually sell pretty well.

Good idea, one thing, the boot pictured would not hold 5 beers, so we would not want to go with that one.
Well seeing as there is no scale on the picture. It is impossible for you to know that. The website I got it from said it was 2 liters. Thats your standard beerfest boot.
